“Best in Show Dry White Wine” & “Best of Nation”, that’s the brilliant outcome at the 31st San Francisco International Wine Competition.

Our Grüner Veltliner Kremser Weinberge 2009 came out on top of wines from all around the world like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling & Co.

Altogether there was a tasting of 4,184 wines from 29 countries, 153 wines of them were awarded double gold. In following tastings of those wines the jury finally found out in only five categories the best of the best: "Best in Show Dry White Wine", in other words, the best dry white wine of the whole competition is our Grüner Veltliner.
